OUR STORY

The Kain Foundation works alongside the corporate and community sector to create opportunities for children and young people in need. We believe in a two-way opportunity, for children and young people to fulfil their potential and for businesses and their employees to experience projects. We exist quite simply to enrich lives.

OUR PROJECTS

We focus on creating opportunities for children and young people to reach their potential in Australia and Uganda by working with organisations that build capacity of individuals and communities to be socially and economically independent. We do this by providing much needed financial resources, as well as hands on and in-kind support with help from our businesses and corporate partners.

OUR PARTNERS

We bring businesses, not for profits and communities together with a common goal. Our Corporate and Community partners share their time and expertise, enabling us to contribute far more valuably to improving the lives of others.

GET INVOLVED

We want you to get involved – whether you’re a business, not-for-profit or individual ready to challenge traditional ways of making change.

Testimonials

I first met Kain Foundation when my Year 10 students at Salisbury High School took part in their Work Inspiration workshop in December 2017. After taking part in the Foundation’s annual immersion trip to Uganda in August 2017, I was so impressed by the impact and outcomes of their projects that I joined their board to help them expanding these projects.  I know that any student who signs up for the School 4 Schools campaign can make a positive difference in the lives of children in Uganda, and gain valuable life skills through the experience.

The Partners at Halpin Financial Services wanted to contribute to communities in a meaningful way that involved the whole team. We’ve sent a team member to Uganda for the last three years and each has experienced a deep personal achievement in helping others. Our fundraising activities have had the added benefit of bringing our team closer together through having fun achieving shared goals. We recommend this experience to other businesses.

For any business that wants to increase their team’s engagement through developing a culture of ‘giving back’ and increasing connections with their communities, we strongly recommend joining the Kain Foundation’s corporate partner network.
