In August, we are off again on the annual Uganda Project expedition. This year’s trip brings together 7 travellers from Kain C+C Lawyers, KWP! Advertising, Two Hands Wines and Blue Sky Alternative Investments who will join forces to contribute to uplifting communities in Uganda who are burdened by poverty. The team will visit, work in and donate goods to various schools and orphanages in Kampala as well as get their hands dirty on a building project in the remote northern village of Gulu. Follow the team’s trip through our blog, facebook or twitter.
Donations have been flowing in from all across Australia. We are overwhelmed by the generosity of individuals and organisation who have sent us clothes, books, stationary, toys, dollars and more. We are still on the hunt for scientific calculators and first aid kits. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you can assist!
A special and HUGE thank you to the ladies from Craft and Hope Kapunda Sewing Bee. Not only have they sewn over 400 dresses and shorts for us to donate to orphanages in Uganda, they did it in three months!! Read about these generous women in the Barossa Herald article Changing the Lives of Children
